With Summer upon us and July just days away, I am trying to choose five books I plan on reading over the next few weeks. I am moving, so I can only choose 5 actual paper books to bring with me. So far, here are my choices with some new and old ones mixed in.
You can click on the IMAGE for details and to order each book.
Little Mercies by Heather Gudenkauf
I adored One Breath Away, so I am really looking forward to Little Mercies. Gudenkauf writes page turners and I really need something psychological to get my mind thinking about other things than paint colors.

Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult
No list is complete without some Jodi Picoult. Picoult's books are so addicting and usually right on with current affairs. She always tops my lists as "must reads". Just never read the afterword since they usually give away some plot details
The Silent Sister by Diane Chamberlain
My book group read The Secret Life of CeCe Wilkes, and I lost tract of her work, so I am going to fix this by picking up her latest. Her books are thought provoking and make great book club choices.
The House on Mermaid Point by Wendy Wax
It wouldn't be summer without a true beach book and nothing says "BEACH" more than Wendy Wax's series about the women in her Florida series. These aren't fluff either, there are some serious women's themes pinpointed in each one.
