I love to read and collect books. My favorite things right now are Chick Lit, Memoirs, Paranormal and Young Adult, but I am pretty much open to trying anything.
I am married with a son who just graduated from USC. My dachshund is pretty much my world though. UPDATE: My husband is now working with my son! My son started there first though.....
My other love is gardening and the yard is getting back into shape! Trying to have and English Cottage garden in the desert just didn't work, so I am slowly replacing a lot of it with more Mediterranean types that fit into the style.

Hi Mary, I'm thrilled that you've chosen to follow my blog. Since you're interested in memoirs, I hope you'll get a chance sometime in the future to read mine (posted on the blog itself). Well, at least, to give it the 50-page test! (I think you're far too generous here: these days I only give books about two pages...)

ReplyDeleteI have a rabbit problem and I am trying lettuce again, but they seem to eat it all. I have to grow anything edible in a container. Right now I am just transplanting the stuff that does well. Lungwort is one of my favorites since the leaves are so pretty.

ReplyDeleteHi Mary
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have a lot going on!
Thanks for the welcome. I actually do have an English cottage garden, though it's actually a jungle at the moment as the gardener has found increasingly shrill reasons to avoid swinging by. When he turns up (he promises me this Tuesday), he's going to need a machete!
