Now it is horror story, mind you. There's little gore, but it is dark. Two years ago my dog had a brush with death, and I put that experience into the story. He's still alive, by the way. That much is different.
I needed a laugh. This fit the bit nicely. Hope the little hound didn't hurt him/herself.
