This is just the perfect book to pick up with a cup of hot chocolate and just read.  It just makes you feel good.  There are two main themes here at work: finding yourself and the meaning of family.  The Scret of Joy also combines those themes in how your family contribute to your personality and relationships. 

Melissa Senate does a wonderful job with this type of novel.  If you are looking for a quick and easy book to take your mind off things, try this one.  I really enjoyed it.

About the Author
