About the Author
Judith Sanders was born and raised in a rural town in New Jersey. She received her BS from Graceland College and worked as a registered nurse for many years, including serving the military as a nurse in Maryland. Sanders, a mother of three boys, now makes writing her full time career and divides her time between her homes in New Hampshire and North Carolina. Her first novel, Crescent Veil, is a reality fiction novel about a hunt for terrorists. With her second novel, In His Stead (A Father's War) Judith honors the memories of those fallen in war.

2. What are you reading right now?
“The Secret of the Nightingale Palace” by Dana Sachs, “New York to Dallas” by J.D. Robb, rereading collected works of Jane Austen, and just finished “Inferno” by Dan Brown
3. How does your garden grow?
In NH I’ve got flower boxes which are being attacked by Japanese beetles. To get my dose of weed pulling I visited my daughter-in-law’s vegetable garden and did some weeding there yesterday. Back in NC I love my day lilies, irises, Japanese maple (no J. beetles there) and my husband’s very small tree farm (mostly red buds).
4. What is the last thing you Googled?
Besides your website, the Boston Museum of Science (we took our grandkids there this week).
5. What makes you cringe?
Mice (although there’s screaming with the cringing), breaking and broken bones (I was a nurse before being a writer)
