Friday PhoDOGraphy ENDEAVOUR SHUTTLE
We walked down to the beach to watch Endeavour fly over. I couldn't believe how many people were on the beach. They closed down the right lane of Pacific Coast Highway so people could stop and watch. Unfortunately, fog delayed the Shuttle and it didn't fly over the beach like it was supposed to. You can see a little white blob right between the white and blue car, right where the yellow sign is. Schatze had a great time at the beach since everyone was petting her!

The shuttle was suppose to fly over our city around 10:30 this morning. It didn't fly around until 12:30. I was on my lunch break and didn't get to see it :(
ReplyDeleteI was sooo lucky to see the shuttle go right over my hotel (I am currently on vacation in Orlando) and it was actually close enough to wave Hello to the pilot (well, almost) - of course my camera was in my room, as I hadn't taken it down to breakfast and was just on my way back to my room when it crossed over. Still, such a cool sight! I mean what are the chances of being there at that precise moment?
ReplyDeletePretty cool!
ReplyDeleteSchatze knew that spreading the love is more important! :)
ReplyDeleteShe is such a sweet dog. I wouldn't be able to resist petting her.
ReplyDeleteSaw the blob! What an opportunity, even if it didn't fly quite as planned.
