How long have you been blogging?

Five Alarm Book Reviews was founded in late 2007 as a mother and daughter team guest posting and writing reviews in newspapers, magazines and newsletters and on the web. Today we are the same mother and daughter team with the addition of other reviewers interested in specific genres, and our own blog, officially launched just this year.

Do you have a favorite genre that you feature on your blog?

I read a lot of YA, but mostly it is a mix of genres. The weekly feature that I have, although not a genre, is Memorable Monday, where I review my recommendation for a book that has a publication date that is over a year old.

How many books a year do you read?

100+

What does your dog like to do while you blog or read?

She has a bed, blanket and toys under my desk and she hangs out there.

What is your dog’s favorite activity?

Mary, she likes chasing her chirping bear. She broke the squeaker in her beloved bear, so we inserted the chirping button from her chick.
