MY THOUGHTS
REALLY LIKED IT

When Susan Stanton has a near death experience, she discovers she can see ghosts and they all seem to want something from her. Her parents send her to the countryside to live with a distant cousin after becoming a problem to them.  Little do they realize that the cousin may not be there and Susan is living among pirates in a coastal town.  She meets some interesting characters like the dressmakers whom she calls the Porcelain Doll and the Witch.   Evan is a smuggler and even though he has a dark side, he finds he has a soft spot of Susan and will protect her.  The ghost haunt Susan and force her to help them.  Overall, this was an interesting read for a paranormal historical.
