About the Author
Cynthia Garner discovered her love for writing when her sixth grade teacher told the class to write a story that began "It was a dark and stormy night . . . " With that Cynthia's love for all things paranormal was born. When she's not working her day job as a mostly mild-mannered human resources manager, she's on her laptop writing or playing way too much Solitaire. LOVED IT
I don't think I read the first book in the series, but it didn't seem to matter since I was quickly caught up in this story about vampires, demons and werewolves from another planet that now inhabit the human world. The story is part paranormal thriller about vicious murders allegedly by these demons, werewolves and vampires that are being investigated by detective Dante MacMillan and turns into a romance when he seeks out Tori, who is literally out of this world. This is a great read for anyone looking for a bit of paranormal suspense along with some hot, steamy romance.

This series has quickly become one of my favorite super hot reads. Combining shape shifters, vampires along with their hunters, brings us back to the outcast Gregori (watchers) Ariane and Cait Sith Damien. The two team up to find Ariane best friend, Samuel, after her turns up missing. The two both have self esteem issues and they must work through those in order to make themselves both better people. Of course, the relationship seems a bit forbidden and each page seems to bring a new twist to the relationship that seems to get hotter by the second. This is just a fabulous and quick read. I did read the previous books in this series, but this one can easily stand alone.
