LOVED IT
This is romantic suspense at its best. Annie Solomon is new to me as an author, but this won't be my last book by her. Mitch and his daughter, Julia, find themselves in the small town of Crossroads, which is more than a prophetic name. Mitch is on the run and trying to protect his daughter from some unspeakable danger. There are many twists and turns in the plot which will keep you guessing and quickly cheering for Mitch. Neesy, his romantic interest, only makes Mitch that much more human and likable. Dutch, the villain, is one truly evil person. I really enjoyed the writing in this book. The author pulled off a remarkable romance with very real characters, something that is hard to find sometimes.
