PLEASE WELCOME JANE TO BOOKHOUNDS

What is the first book you remember reading by yourself as a child?

Jane: The Wind in the Willows. Although this may be cheating. I insisted on being read this story over and over until I memorized it. So I was only “sort of” reading.

What are you reading right now?

Jane: A pile of books entered for the RITA awards. I love making a contribution to RWA by participating in the judging.

How does your garden grow?

Jane: Since I’m recently transplanted to LA, and still learning about the desert ecosystem, for now I have to say -- with sprinklers.

What is the last thing you Googled?

Jane: Darkwalker by Duncan Eagleson. Great book!

What makes you cringe?

Jane: unkindness

  2. Hi Jane!
I love your books but must admit I wouldn't be reading them today if he weren't for my 10th grade High School teacher who assigned the class Don Quixote by Cervantes as "required reading".

Needless to say at the time I wished the boys in my class were like him and how he saw Dulcinea after all what teenage girl doesn't want to look more like a woman a woman "fully grown" and with curves!

I must admit I love a hero who heroine who can see underneath the facade and see the true person inside!

  8. My husband gifted me with a complete boxed set of Georgette Heyer's romances when I was in the hospital with the birth of our first child, a son. That started me on the road to a romance reading habit and I've not regretted it a single moment. It relaxes me and makes me feel good.
