About Annie Seaton

Annie Seaton lives on the edge of the South Pacific Ocean on the east coast of Australia and she is fulfilling her lifelong dream of writing, and has been delighted to discover that readers love reading her stories as much as she loves writing them.

Annie lives with her own hero of many years. Their two children are now grown up and married, and two beautiful grandchildren have arrived. Now they share their home with "Bob" the dog and two white cats.

Her debut full length novel, Holiday Affair, a contemporary romance set in the South Pacific was released as part of Entangled Publishing’s Indulgence line in March 2012 and was an Amazon, and Barnes and Noble bestseller. 1. What is the first book you remember reading by yourself as a child?

Anne of Green Gables. My mother loved it so much she named me after Anne Shirley. I still have the original copy which belonged to my mother published in 1937, plus two modern versions. Alas, I could never entice my own daughter to read it!


2. What are you reading right now?

The Dark Witch by Nora Roberts. I aspire to her productivity and am trying hard… with twelve books out in two years!


3. How does your garden grow?

My garden is absolutely glorious and I post a photo of the day’s flower on Facebook most mornings when I ramble in the garden before I commence writing. (You can see them on my FB page! https://www.facebook.com/annieseaton26/photos_all


4. What is the last thing you Googled?


How to embed code into a Word Press page. I can do it but I was finding a shortcut for an author friend for a Christmas blog hop I created. http://bit.ly/1jCTztD


5. What makes you cringe?

Incorrect spelling… in newspapers, blog posts (better double check this one) books, signs, anywhere. My pet hate is lightening!

    I have just been inteoduced to this author. I am looking forward to reading this book and any others she has written. I wonder what would I do if it was my job that i was trying to save. How far would I go! to keep it and would I want to take it from the boardroom to the bedroom

    Love the sound of the book! I always love a romance where the characters have a rich history together--it makes the romance more believable :D
