Book Description
She Always Wanted to be One of the Boys...
Sybella would do anything to prove she's just as valuable to the MacKenzie clan as her brother is. She'd go on any hunt, take any dare. But her father has a different sort of mission in mind: marriage. It's simple, he explains. All she has to do is marry Alexander MacDonell and report back on his family's secrets. It will be easy, he says, as long as she doesn't do anything foolish...like fall in love.
Until She Got a Man...
As laird of the McDonell's, Alex has a duty to produce an heir. It's a duty he won't mind with the lovely Ella as his wife—even if she is one of the dreaded MacKenzies. He's wooed and won many ladies, but Ella is a challenge like no other. He can tell she's holding something back. But not for long. Because inch by inch, he plans to expose everything she's been hiding and claim the ultimate prize: her heart.
"Highland romance at its best, loaded with likeable characters and an engaging plot. To Wed a Wicked Highlander is another not-to-be-missed book from Victoria Roberts."—Night Owl Romance Reviews, Top Pick
"An exciting Highland adventure with sensual and compelling romance."—Amanda Forester, author of True Highland Spirit on Temptation in a Kilt
1. What is the first book you remember reading by yourself as a child?
The first book I can remember reading by myself was probably Black Beauty. I had a ton of those Little Golden Books and loved reading about horses—magnificent, powerful, animals. Even then I wanted a prince to carry me away on his noble steed.
2. What are you reading right now?
I’m getting ready to start Karen Marie Moning’s series Iced. I loved the Fever series so I’m looking forward to reading this new one. As soon as I find a spare moment, I’ll start.
3. How does your garden grow?
Terribly, thanks for asking. I do NOT have a green thumb. I’m fortunate enough to have a farm across the street. Need I say more?
4. What is the last thing you Googled?
Belgium. My sister’s traveling there on business this October and I’m fortunate enough to have the opportunity to tag along with her. I’ve been looking at castle tours and a ton of sights to see that I don’t want to miss.
5. What makes you cringe?
There are a lot of things. The first one that comes to mind is spiders, especially wolf spiders. Sometimes we have them in our basement and I’m sure the neighbors think we’re killing someone from the screams. I try to get my son to kill them and say, “You’re a boy. You should kill them.” Of course he replies, “But you’re the grown-up.” Smart lad.

About the Author
VICTORIA ROBERTS writes sexy, Scottish historical romances about kilted heroes and warriors from the past. Prior to ever picking up a single romance novel, she penned her first young adult novella at 16 years old. Who knew her leather-studded motorcycle hero would trade in his ride and emerge as a kilt wearing Highlander wielding a broadsword? Victoria lives with her husband and their two beautiful children in western Pennsylvania.

ReplyDeleteI would love to go to England, Scotland, or Ireland. Heck, I'd just make a tour of it.
ReplyDeleteJanice, that sounds delightful.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer vacations are anywhere as long as my best friend Karen is with me! We have travelled all over the South (we both live in FL, just different areas) by car then have taken flights to Maine, DC/NYC, CA/OR/WA and Montreal. We haven't travelled the past 3 years as she's battling breast cancer but I'm going to try to get her to take a cruise soon. We did want to go to Ireland but her health & my arthritic knee just won't allow the trip (I'm 44 & she's 45-we laugh that we are falling apart!).
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that and I hope you both get to take your cruise soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to get really into Highlander romance and I seem to be liking this book. Thanks for sharing. My favorite summer destination place is usually my bed where I can read. But I do love going to San Francisco to enjoy the ocean breeze and hiking whenever possible.
ReplyDeleteIt's a split between two places. One the white sand of the ocean and Panama City Beach Florida and camping high in the Mountains
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy. I've never been to San Fran. I heard it's wonderful.
