Book Description
The Royal Treatment
All Leah wanted was a little gallantry. But in this day and age, chivalry was most definitely dead. If only there were a way to travel back in time and snag her very own duke...
Avery Russell was polishing some boots when a woman fell through the bedchamber mirror into his arms. All he could make out from her breathless babbling was some nonsense about "my one true love, Your Grace." Clearly the chit was mad if she couldn't tell a valet from a duke!
As much as Avery wanted to give in and give her a good tumble, he knew it wouldn't be proper. No, he'd take as long as necessary to convince Leah that sometimes a duke just won't do.

Hello!
Thanks so much to Book Hounds for having me! I’ve been so excited to continue the release tour for GEEK GIRLS DON’T DATE DUKES, which has hit #6 on Amazon.ca’s books> Romance time travel list. WOOHOO! I don’t think I’ll be claiming the title of international best seller yet, but the second Geek Girls book is doing well and I couldn’t be happier. Sourcebooks is a wonderful publisher, and I love so much that they took a chance on my stories. And I know that you guys here at Book Hounds have some great questions for me, so I’m going to dive right into them!!
1. What is the first book you remember reading by yourself as a child?
Oh gosh, I don’t remember the name!! It was something about a wolf in a dress, who lived in a red house. I read it out loud, standing by myself on the front porch of our old farmhouse. (We weren’t farmers, we just lived on someone else’s farm.) It was a book from the library, and I remember thinking “Gosh, that was cool. I did it all by myself!” Ever since that day, I’ve read waaaaay too much. But I love it and wouldn’t ever stop!
2. What are you reading right now?
I’m re-reading THE DUKE AND I by Julia Quinn for probably the sixth time. I love the Bridgerton series, and Ms. Quinn is one of my all-time favorite authors. I needed something comfortable and familiar to slip into the Regency frame of mind, since I’m currently writing the third book in the Geek Girls series, THE GEEK GIRL AND THE RELUCTANT RAKE.
3. How does your garden grow?
With my black thumb? It doesn’t. ;) Seriously, I plant things with great intentions. I’m not a bad gardener, I’m an apathetic one. I don’t understand why I can’t just stick plants in dirt and they take over themselves. But I seem to be an excellent curator of weeds…
4. What is the last thing you Googled?
“Commonly abused prescription narcotics” actually. NO, don’t put me on any DEA watchlists!! I just finished up editing a New Adult novel, and let’s just say that information was important for the plot. But fortunately, after looking up the list (and there are tons of commonly abused prescription drugs) I remembered that my best friend is a licensed pharmacist, so I just texted her and got exactly the information I needed straight from a good source. That manuscript is called DRAW ME IN, and it’ll be under my pen name, Regina Cole. Publisher to be determined. J
5. What makes you cringe?
Neglect of animals. Misuse of apostrophe’s. (GOD, typing that made me cringe!!! AACK!! Please note that intentional apostrophe misuse was on purpose, and the sight of it has sent me into a cold sweat.) Twitter spam. Facebook in general. Off-key singing.
These were some fun questions! Have any more for me? Thanks again, BH, for letting me stop by! And I hope you all get the chance to check out GEEK GIRLS DON’T DATE DUKES.
