Giveaway Interview RANCHER TO THE RESCUE by JENNIFER FAYE @JenniferFaye34 @HarlequinBooks

Book Description

Publication Date: July 1, 2013 | Series: Harlequin Romance (Book 4386)

Damsel in a wedding dress!

Jilted at the altar, celebrity chef Meghan Finnegan flees the scene--and the baying press--only to run straight into the muscled torso of Cash Sullivan.

The former rodeo champion knows what's it like to have your life crumble in the spotlight, so he offers Meghan a place to lie low at his ranch.

Fresh air, no paparazzi and the brooding rancher's lazy smile are making Meghan not want to leave her sanctuary. But she and her unborn baby can't stay here forever...can they?

About The Author

In another life, Jennifer Faye was a statistician. She still has a love for numbers, formulas and spreadsheets, but when she was presented with the opportunity to follow her lifelong passion to spend her days writing and pursuing her dream of becoming a Harlequin author, she couldn't pass it up. These days when she's not writing, Jennifer enjoys reading, fine needlework, quilting, tweeting and cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins. She lives in Pennsylvania with her amazingly patient husband, two remarkably talented daughters and their two very spoiled furbabies otherwise known as cats, but shh...don't tell them they're not human.

PLEASE WELCOME JENNIFER TO BOOKHOUNDS!

What is the first book you remember reading by yourself as a child?

That’s easy. Dr. Seuss. I’ve always had a fascination with his books. J Perhaps that’s where I got the desire to be a writer. Very possible.

What are you reading right now?

Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series. I just love that small town and the entertaining cast of characters. I will be so bummed when I get to the last book.

How does your garden grow?

Actually the flower garden is doing really well this year. It’s still early though. It isn’t usually lush and full of color until August. But I do love how the vibrant color of the zinnias, cosmos, and 4 o’clocks draw in the butterflies and hummingbirds. The honey bees I could do without, but they have an important job to do. ;-)

What is the last thing you Googled?

Secret rooms/passageways in New York City houses. It’s for an upcoming book, which I’m very excited about.

What makes you cringe?

Snakes. Ugh!!! I came face to face with one as a kid. I froze. It raised its head to strike…all I can say is thank goodness for a fast acting great-uncle. Still gives me the willies.

  2. Hi. Glad my Googling sparked some interest. Research for a new book is so much fun. And the secret room/passageway is actually not for the next book but the one after it. Now I just have to hope my editor like what I've done with my research. ;-)

  3. Ii noted from your interview, Jennifer, that you were a statistician. I wasn't but I was a math major in college. If I'd known then what I now know, I would've majored in Accounting. Straightforward math like in bookkeeping pleases me a lot more than theory! I'm just not a scientist. :-) I've always wished I could be a writer...but I don't have the imagination that most authors have and I also am not as self-disciplined like you have to be when you are self-employed. jdh2690@gmail.com

  4. Hi, Janice. The theory of math is definitely interesting and a bit out there. I have friends that majored in Math. Congrats for getting through it.

As for the wild imagination, I've definitely got one. Had it my whole life. Writing is a wonderful way to release some of that creative energy. ;-)
