Giveaway & Guest Post by CAMI CHIECKETTS author of Dead Running

PLEASE WELCOME CAMI TO BOOKHOUNDS

Gardening
I have four boys who eat insane amounts of food and yearn to know how to work hard (just kidding, their mom and dad stay up nights trying to scheme how to teach them to work). To try to keep them in food without breaking the piggy bank and teach them the value of hard work, my husband and I plant a larger vegetable garden each year. The garden has become not only a chance to labor together, but a chance to learn together. Our favorite garden lesson is how weeds can grow quickly, disguised almost as a plant, and take over your garden before you know it. We relate this to how bad things can come into our lives and almost before we realize it we’ve replaced worthwhile and uplifting activities with time-wasting and worthless or even destructive past times.
I’m obsessed with teaching my children to better themselves and make a valuable contribution to society. Our garden has been a wonderful way to improve our relationships (except for when the boys are being lazy and Mom starts losing what little patience she has), improve our work ethic, and learn some lessons along the way.
Thanks for having me on the blog!

Dead Running

Cassidy Christensen is running.
Running from the mercenaries who killed her parents.
Running from a scheming redhead intent on making her life miserable.
Running from painful memories that sabotage her dreams of happiness.

With two very tempting men competing for her attention, she hopes she'll finally have someone to run to, but can she trust either of them? When secrets from her past threaten her family, Cassidy decides to stop running and fight for her future.

Dying to Run

Cassidy Christensen wants to run.

Captured by the traffickers who killed her mother, her only hope is Dr. Tattoo, a man she loves but nobody trusts. When she finally gets a chance to run, someone else she cares about is taken. Running might be her only chance at survival, but she won’t allow another family member to be killed in her place.

This must-read sequel to Dead Running will have you laughing, biting your nails, and hoping for more.
