MY THOUGHTS

LOVED IT

This is probably my favorite romance series of all time, so I am so happy it is continuing.  Amy, the waitress at the local cafe has moved to Lucky Harbor and hopes that she can find peace like her grandmother did.  She reads her grandmother's diary and in her off time loves to hike and draw, so when She takes a wrong turn on a trail and runs into the local forest ranger, Matt, she doesn't expect the local heart-throb to notice her.  Talk about a cute meet!  There is instant attraction but, as always, in Lucky Harbor, there are obstacles to overcome  in each of their lives and the fact that life isn't always easy sometimes gets in their way.  Shalvis again writes about flawed characters that can overcome their shortfalls and pasts in order to move on with their future.

MY THOUGHTS

LOVED IT

Grace, the adopted daughter of two brilliant scientist has just lost her job and even though her parents loved her, she feels that she has failed.  Lucky Harbor seems to draw in those looking for a second chance and Grace is no different.  Josh, the ER doctor and probably what her parent's expected her to become has hired her as a dog walker and to help out his recently disabled sister.  The last thing on Josh's mind is romance but as Grace starts to help him out more and more, he depends on her more and more.  OK, so I was a bit giddy at these two getting together since as an overworked doctor and Grace feeling underachieving would ever work things out.  Sigh, this is just one of those romances where everything worked out just how it was supposed to with great flawed characters, wonderful dialogue and believable details.
