ROCKTOBER! The Decemberists 'Song for Myla Goldberg' live

How cool is this?

The Village Voice says:

...Tthe Decemberists' Colin Meloy wrote a song about Myla Goldberg's pretty hands and dangly limbs, but she "must have had a brain lesion or something," because she didn't remember ever meeting him. "I'm bad," she says. "It turns out we talked at a reading. But it's not like he said, 'Hello, I'm Colin Meloy, the lead singer of the Decemberists.' "

It is nice to see the literary world collide with the music one, although I think it happens more often than we realize.
