The L.A. Times Festival of Books moves to USC | Jacket Copy | Los Angeles Times

 WooHoo!

This is only about 30 minutes from my house! To get to UCLA, where the festival has always been held, it was over an hour drive. Of course, this had to happen the right after my son graduated from USC and now lives about 10 minutes from UCLA. Yeah, fate is laughing at me right now.

    That is nice (and kind of funny). Will any extra time you gain be eaten up by searching for parking, or is that easy down there? I know it's closer to downtown.

    The drive to USC is easy compared to the one to UCLA -- I can easily make it there in 30 minutes. Parking shouldn't be an issue since it is on the weekend and they just completed new structures. Fingers crossed!
