LOVED IT

This is a wonderful romance.  I didn't read the first book in the series, but you can bet I am going to go back and get it.  This is a unique blend of fantasy, action-adventure and historical romance. Is this a new genre?  I sure hope so!  Max is a hunk of a man and Sabine makes a good foil as well as romantic interest.  It really reminded me a lot of Romancing the Stone as far as the action went.  I think this would make a great movie.
I read a lot of paranormal and urban fantasy, so adding the historical element in is broadening my horizons.
