My Soul to Save by Rachel Vincent (Book Review 2010-4)

My Soul to Save by Rachel Vincent

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT

Can this series get any better?  This is one of those books I picked up and couldn't put down until I read the last page.  And even then I didn't want to part with it.  The next one, My Soul to Keep, comes out this June and it is going to seem like forever.

I am trying to not put in any spoilers, Disneyesque teens play a huge role in this one.  Kaylee has to save them from themselves and the idol maker that is selling their souls in exchange for stardom.  This story line is just so much fun!  This storyline can stand alone and there is not much in the way to annoy parents except for some heavy kissing that doesn't seem to get too far.  There is some mention of demon drug abuse which I thought was pretty unique.  Even the covers are incredible.

Product Description
When Kaylee Cavanaugh screams, someone dies.
So when teen pop star Eden croaks onstage and Kaylee doesn't wail, she knows something is dead wrong. She can't cry for someone who has no soul.
The last thing Kaylee needs right now is to be skipping school, breaking her dad's ironclad curfew and putting her too-hot-to-be-real boyfriend's loyalty to the test. But starry-eyed teens are trading their souls: a flickering lifetime of fame and fortune in exchange for eternity in the Netherworld—a consequence they can't possibly understand.
Kaylee can't let that happen, even if trying to save their souls means putting her own at risk….
