This almost didn't make it through the fifty page rule. I read the first 25 pages and put it down, tried again and was hooked. Thirsty is a very sneaky book! What surprised me was how intellegent the writing is and how this doesn't talk down to teenagers. This is a nice change from most of the YA paranormals since it is written from a male perspective by a male. I think this would be a great read for those reluctant male teenagers.
